just a remark on Part 1 -- Building a simple module
(didn't find the right thread here, and maybe sb else told you already
)
on
http://www.kaotik.biz/tutorial/buildmodule4.html the address is referred by
<td><input type="text" name="addr"></td>
lateron the database uses "address", and the insertion is coded as
$query = "Insert into ".$xoopsDB->prefix("tutorial_myform")." (name, address, telephone, email) values ('$name', '$address', '$tel', '$email' )";
the effect is that the db field remains empty
