Search for Invision Power File Manager. Brilliant module, but... AFAIK it needs PHP register_globals 'ON', or safe_mode 'OFF' (it's one of the two) so may not be suitable.
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.

Agreed - and also Herve's MyDownloads is rather good as well.

dont know xplorer
but all others r downloads modules where user must enter too much of info until they can upload

searching only for a basic modul which can only upload files
it can also be a nonxoops php module, no need user permissions etc.

but after the user has uploaded their files, is that it? how do other users find those files or download them? if that's your intention.

or are you wanting users to just upload files so you can use them.. example: a user wants to submit his CV or demo program for you to look at.

there's thousands of standalone upload scripts available..

google results turn out thousands just by searching upload script

or try www.hotscripts.com

You could even turn such a stand alone script into a very very basic module - which could allow you to let only certain people have access to uploading - by using permissions.

the files r for me
no need to present as downloads again after uploading
so a standalone (php) solution will be the best for me i tihnk

i think formulize has an option to upload files (i could be wrong)

you could basically set the form up in formulize say like "submit your file here" and only have the browse button and possibly a field for the users email address or whatever. and just use that formulize form for that purpose.
