Xoops Protector not logging

I have installed XOOPS Protector - it seems a wonderful module as I have been compromised in the past, but the logging does not seem to be doing anything at all. My "data" usage in the xoops_protector_log table is 0 - any ideas?

which version are you using?
use the latest version from gijoe, and if not worked update it or reinstall it(uninstall then install!)

I think Protector logs IP in files in the trust path directory. Maybe check the write permissions of those files, must be writable. See readme :)

No NO No, Protector saves always the logs in database, it`s actually for security reason!
like if you update you module the log will be gone but security logs have to be saved in a safer place than trust path!

I am using Protector v 3.13 - the newest as far as I can tell. I am on XOOPS 2.0.16, php 5.1.2, MySQL 5.0.37...

I am happy to answer anything else - it seems odd it won't log!

Are you sure there's been activity that should be in the log?
