Hello Xoopers,

I am looking for some modules which are suitable for an Engineering Institute's students community. Please checkout the site ietbugs.com and suggest me how can i make it more student oriented/friendly.

Just suggest me some nice modules, the ones i haven't already implemented.

I have already implemented:
News
Forums
zmagazine
jobs
Alumni
bookslists
gafeeds
poll
userpoints
marquee

and planning to configure blogs.


I hope to get some nice ideas from you all.

What about a module for links to interesting engineering websites (WF-Links or Weblinks)?

I don't think college would allow listings of other colleges on the website, this is a privately held college not government. I need dedicated services for the institute only. Links is a very common module and people start posting spam links, which is not good for a college community. Protector is a good idea.

Any other ?

- Mastop Publish 1.1
- Mastop Go2 for destak and style flash contents.
- Xmail for newsletter
- Xoopspool by Giba works.
- Marquee
- Multimenu.
- News.
- Weblinks.
- Forum.
- xoopsinfo.

hi,

maybe xProject if students need to manage projects

and some kind of calendar module.

To help with site management - altsys (or templatesadmin and blocksadmin), protector, xoopsinfo, and maybe some form of backup ...

..
