Hi,

I see that a new version of XOOPS is about to launch. Does anyone know where I can find out more info on the features of the new version? Also I wonder whether they are going to do away with the annoying and inelegant database update screens between each form submission ("If the page does not reload...")

The new release (2.0.17) only fix some bugs and add new functions. It is a minor revision (look changelog here)
Redirect: yes, it is inelegant. You could to use a hack by sato-san (here).

Thanks for the info debianus.

I think I got confused by the Classified Ads announcement on the xoops.org homepage where it states Version 3 RC1. I got excited.
