I am useing XOOPS 2.16 currently on two differant systems. One is on my personal computer operating on xp pro with xampp server, everything works perfectly. I also have an account with need4hosting.info and not everything works. I think they are useing php5, same as my xampp, but for some reason with some modules the admin pages to configure them does not show up at all. I don't even get an error message, just a white blank page. some modules work perfectly (eg.. avatarmaker, ircchat), but any forum I have tried to install, will install, but I can't admin anything on them. I have tried to uninstall, reinstall, update and look to see what can be edited, though I am not a php programmer. I haven't contacted my host yet, I wanted to see if there is a hack to make this work. Any help is appreciated.

Can I suggest a couple of things to check?

1. Switch to the XOOPS default theme to eliminate theme-related issues

2. Make sure that your /cache, /templates_c and /uploads directories are CHMOD 777

3. Make sure that the (correct) module directories are not "nested" inside unnecessary, superfluous ones.
