What screen resolution are both your computers.

mine the computer I'm currently running is 1280 x 720

You need the opinion/advice of someone like Kris or Ana to design a theme that will work well in different resolutions and browsers.

I only mention this as the other day I got a report from one of my sites that they had to scroll right to view all the site, I asked their res, and then changed my computer to reflect their settings and the same happened this end.

Both of my comps. are using 1024 x 768.

I think for now, I'll go with the other comp's display, probably the Firefox on my machine is a bit whacky, lol...

Though a little annonying, at least I'm glad it's not a really large problem that'll obstruct readability on the site.

pretty cool. on my screen however, the bg image on the right does not blend right with the image with the text "HOME STAFFS" etc.

also, have you tried lowering the opacity on that bg image?

just a few thoughts.
