Hello,
I cannot properly access the site inside my LAN unless I change the xoops_url variable in mainfile.php to 192.168.*.* If I do that however, the same thing of course happens from trying to access the site from the Internet. I have come across some older solutions, but hey don't seem to apply to the version of XOOPS I'm running, and all indications would point this already having been solved. Did I do something wring during install? Is my ISP (roadrunner) to blame?

Running XOOPS 2.0.16, PHP 5.2.2, MySQL 4.1.18

Thanks in advance for any insight.

I added a line to the following file on all LAN PCs--
c:\windows\system32\etc\host

domainname.com 192.168.*.*

that did the trick!
