Hello all,

I'm a super new user, and have installed XOOPS on my site. However I am very confused because when I activate blocks on unknown or anonymous users they do not show up. A new user visiting the site gets no blocks at all ;X

How does XOOPS see someone visitng without ever registering? I need to make blocks visible for these users...

Help!

Mik welcome to xoops!

When you log into your site

Click on the link

Administration Menu

This will take you to the backend of the XOOPS cms.

Now from the default install you will only see one module.
That is the System Admin.

If you hover your mouse over system admin you will see a menu appear.

Scroll down to Groups and click. You will be able to set who sees what blocks from inside groups.

Click on "modify" it is next to the word "anonymous" check the blocks you want them to see and hit the button "Update Group".

All done...

Welcome aboard!

Billy
