I am looking for a module like phpBB Garage 1.0.3 I have been searching all the XOOPS sites and havent found one. Does XOOPS have anything like this?

You wont find much automotive here on XOOPS thats forsure.

If you look in my profile look at the link customandstock.com under XOOPS yaxs news.

Thats the only thing I have ever seen that is XOOPS related and worth a darn. Its closed source so you wont be able to use it. (Sorry) I wish I could build it.

There is a realestate module somewhere around here that has automotive features. I was looking for it the other day and I could not find it. If you do find this module please let me know. I had it installed once but didn't know what I was doing then. I hope to find this module again and give it another run.

Anything that anybody knows about XOOPS and automotive websites would you post what you know?

Hey we might be able to get a few items on the agenda.

NO but there is a phpbb bridge out there that will allow you to integrate phpbb with your XOOPS install, then its just a matter of installing the phpbb addon as normal.

I believe the module Script-fu is looking for is open-realty115b.

I found a couple of references to the module, however all the links are dead.
Some dream of success, while others wake up and work for it.

Will: you are the man! If you dig a little there are a bunch of these garage mods for alot of the different boards!

So what we need to do is list all the bridges we know of then find all the garage modules and list them. I even found some guy doing a SMF port of garage.

Komaz: you are right and I had the mod but can no longer find it... err

Blue: leave it up to you to post a very useful link siteadvisor I have never heard of them.

I might start a thread for all automotive things in xoops.
Kinda like a faq...

about two years ago i had tried to add the garage mod to X-phpbb, and it didnt work.

Sence the files in phpbb have been modified to make it x-phpbb the files need to make the mod work, are nolonger there.

with lost time in it, i gave up on adding it into x-phpbb.
thought about adding it to the core files of xoops, but im not that talented yet.

Thank Northern,

You certainly cleared that up! No version of XOOPS above 2.0.9.2 will work with X-phpbb.


I still haven't had time to dig thru all the different ports of garage. I will look this weekend for others ports like Smf maybe we will get lucky.
