Hi all ..

I had made a patch for XOOPS that will make DHTML TEXTAREA (the thing that is used to write postings in this site ) more useful.

Can you tell us a little more, e.g. how is it more useful? What additional features are there?

I like this a lot...if I understand it right, this makes it easier to use, which the current one isnt. that alone would be a great addition.

I like it too, but for me then $64,000 question is:

"Is it reversible and, if not, is it likely to break forward compatability with future releases?"

I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but I always ask the above question. Sounds like it is reversible given that it's just a file replacement

Hi,

You should do some search for Wanikoo hack. Maybe it can help you to release a crossbrowser solution.

P.S. If i remember well, with Wanikoo hack we were able to select text and/or insert any code into mouse position (instead actual end of post/comment)!
