I'm a newbie with minimum knowledge of building website.

I'm just installed and done the guide documentation.
But i really don't know how to design my htdocs/index.php
When I follow the documentation, it's not what I'm expected.
I'm trying to build a site something like http://jknkelantan.moh.gov.my/index.php.

Could anyone guide me to start building a page like I mentioned ?

First you need to get your own site address, if you haven't already.

Then I note the page you give me http://jknkelantan.moh.gov.my/ here has a copywrite on the bottom. Copyright © 2006 Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia

So you can't take directly from them but in doing a google search I see they use XOOPS and some of our free themes.

So install the XOOPS 2.0.16 as the instructions in the manual Here is the documentation for installing ... http://xoopsdocs.net/modules/docs/en/xu-002/xu-002.pdf
written some while back but pretty much shows how to do it.

After a successful install

you select a theme, from the many that are available, the one that most closly fits your tastes. The one they are using is 7dana-rose --

EXCELLENT SITE, thank you, I just did not have that address at my fingertips. In my opinion a link to that main site should be in the community sidebar. (directory)

http://xoopswiki.org and http://xoopsinfo.com and any others that provide mainly XOOPS related services.

I would be happy if someone started a thread just to add the addresses to so they could be found at our fingertips.

URL's and synopsis of what they offer would help us route user inquires to where they could get the best information the quickest.
