Re: Problem with captcha module

Which XOOPS version? Have you tried the captcha facility in the newest Frameworks?

Re: Problem with captcha module

Sounds like your php isnt compiled with GD
That function is a core php function, so its not defined by the Framework:
http://www.php.net/imagettftext

Look at your phpinfo and search for "GD Support" and see if its "enabled" and look for "GD Version".

Re: Problem with captcha module

php is not complied with GD Support. Ask your web hosting company to install it and enable it for you. Most will do this on asking, if they don't, then move to a decent hosting company.

Also remind them that they need to update to php-4.4.7

Re: Problem with captcha module

Hello,

I am not able to see captcha images in the registration page(/register.php).

Xoops - xoops-2.3.2b
PHP Version 4.4.9

I don't have /uploads/securityimage directory, even though I did a new full install.

From php info:
gd
GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.0.28 compatible)
FreeType Support enabled
FreeType Linkage with freetype
GIF Read Support enabled
GIF Create Support enabled
JPG Support enabled
PNG Support enabled
WBMP Support enabled
XBM Support enabled

Is there anything else I need to do to enable captcha?
