All,

This is my first post here. I am new to XOOPS but really like it so far.

I am working on an education type website and I am trying to find a (hopefully simple) way to make new users enter their account info (profile) before proceeding anywhere else on the site.

This only needs to be done the first time they enter the website so maybe it can be (somehow) tied to the email validation?

I am using XOOPS 2.0.16.

Thank you,

Well, I'd guess the way you do this is to make a single block of info that is available to anonymous on the home page with a link to all your stuff. Then make all your stuff require Register Users access via permissioning to access the modules. Then use Multi-Menu to make your menus. Allow Anonymous to read/access/use/view the menus, but since they can't see anything without logging in, then you can get what you ask for. Registration system can require (and is defaulted to) asking for e-mail confirmations for registration.

Does that answer your question?
