As I said - I'll stick a more boring theme selectable as an option for those few cases

Re: xoopswiki.org

It might be cosidered a reasonable suggestion then to have an individual that is responsible for the site or page to put a contact name at the bottom for submissions and suggestions.

I have a worthy suggestion for the xoopsdocs.net welcome page that truly needs some attention. I will add it when a contact person is designated.

David,
Whatever theme is used I understand will be unified among all official sites. When I am involved in getting work accomplished a clean boring site is preferred by me. It worked for google.

Don't worry - I will listen to your issue with the theme .. as I rarely use Internet Exploder myself - I'm not always aware of odd issues that happen with it.

But... I promise that if I find there is a problem, I will personally pay for a new theme from the XoopsDesign team.

(Although I do like this myself ... I have to be fair that it may not be perfect for everyone... )

Thanks for pointing out the issue ... lets see if I can get it fixed for you

PS: XoopsWiki.org is NOT an official site - it is a personal site run as a hobby, but for the benefit of the community

David,
Why should you have to pay for an XOOPS theme. Doesn't XOOPS have something available you could use at no cost.
That statement makes no sense to me.

Theme builders all around and no acceptable adaptable theme for xoops?

I don't have a problem with this one, it is easy to use and very popular as far as visitors are concerned.

My personal opinion...

Since a design team is being put up it'll be part of their job to theme (and) xoopswiki.org, why?

XOOPS is a Community and design team should make sure that XOOPS as a product is presented the best way it can possible be presented in order to keep/attract more users

Actually the design of XoopsWiki is purely down to the owners of the site.

It will, of course, look like an excellent example of a XOOPS site - as it currently does (except in some cases, as BS pointed out... ) - so there's no need to be concerned about that

I'll just be glad when its back live so I can make the relevant adjustments to it (Including some more requested translation areas...)

Re: xoopswiki.org

Ok, as I understand it now, you are taking over xoopswiki from Ana and going to run it as your private website, (community member website) maintaining the XOOPS flavor.

From your point of view it will be owned and operated by you as an XOOPS addon.

Am I correct?
