I've just updated MM2.82 >> MM 1.9 and am having some difficulties getting it to properly build submenus.

The current problem is that when I add a new menu item as a sublink the module fails to record the PID, defaulting instead to 0. Consequently the submenu (Horizontal CSS dropdown) fails to appear. When I edit the PID manually the submenus function properly.

I've just reinstalled (copy over and update actually) the module but the problem persists. Before I do a complete uninstall/reinstall/menu rebuild:

1. Is anyone else also experiencing my problem, and is there a fix?

2. Is this still the official support forum, or is there another? I note that some of MM's authors seem to have decamped to other websites (instant-zero?) but don't list it as one of their products. I see that wolfactory lists it as their own but you can download only v1.8.

3. So, is it being actively developed or is it end-of-life - in which case what are the best replacement options?

I've been using this version actively, and have had no problems at all so far (and I also thank Blueteen for some other help he's given me with this module! )

Is there a Multimenu 1.9?

well ...aside from that... im using multiMenu 1.8 but i have the same problem... the submenu's don't show up...

either i don't understand how to... but everything i select as a related sublink... doesent show at all

What im trying to do... is to have a menu just like the standard one... but remove some of the modules/options from showing there

multiMenu 1.9

can you detail your block config for your menu ? (or send me an admin access to your website)

eantipa, I think you might want to remove your / before submit.php? Maybe?

From the module:
Quote:
~Type: set the link type you want to apply to the current link. There are 5 different link type :

* Category: display as a category link type.
* Main link: standard main link type.
* Permanent sublink: sublink type which would display permanently.
* Related sublink: sublink type which would display dynamically, regarding the parent mainlink. Note that to make the dynamic links to work, it is necessary to add '\ / ' (trailin slash) at the end of main links linking to a directory!
* Note: would display like a standard comment text.

Edit again: I have no idea what I'm talking about right now, sorry. I'll check this out more when I get time.
I don't know.
