Hi dear xoopsers,
only a few words to announce you that i quitted the development of TinyEditor module.
My decision is based upon two orders of reasons:

1)i really don't have time and will to continue the development

2)i'm very disappointed by the core development during the last (too many) months.

I'm one of the first-time users and members around here but now things are going in the wrong direction and i honestly don't want to put my time and efforts in a project i don't believe in anymore.

If someone is interested in continuing the development of tinyeditor, feel free to contact me.

ATB,ralf
Don't know what i want but i know how to get it..........

I chose TinyEditor as my editor of choice for News 1.53 and CBB 3.08. It was so easy to configure and works great with these excellent modules.

It's the only editor I know of that installs as a module for easy administrative configuration.

I sincerely hope that development continues with this fine editor.

I want to thank the talented individuals (Ralf57) that created this editor for the XOOPS community.

Yep ... it's a great module built on a great wysiwyg
and it's very bad that ralf's stopping to support it
I just found out that it's file manager ( xrmanager ) is not functioning for me (suse lamp ) - not showing the files in the directories .... can anyone test and confirm on other environments ?

As he posted on 2007/6/7 21:51, I understand that he won't.

Hope I'm wrong because I always use this an excellent module much needed by xoops.

I understand you Ralf57, It's a shame as much cool contributors were loosed.
Phppp gives me great hopes but I will wait a little to involve more.

Just to make things a bit clearer:
i still have great ideas for tinyeditor.
Turning these into reality depends on the efforts that core development team will put into XOOPS in the next months.
I do really appreciate the fact that phppp named himself lead developer (he's got the skills for this role) and i agree with him;
now i do expect that intentions and words become "released code"
then i could rethink my decision
Don't know what i want but i know how to get it..........
