Hello I'm Jerome.
I'm looking for a module that I can use to show the latest news artikel (that I can choose) on the main page.
All news modules that I tryed so far only show the title or a short piece of the text.
But what I want to show is the hole artikel

These I all tryed.
- Smartsection
- news-block
- NL_news_1.44
- newbb
and several more.

The way I did it now is:
I made a custom block (named it news flash) and I copy pasted the artikel in that block, but it looses some of the format like background color and some more.
There must be an easyer way to do this.

Please help me.

Hi,

search for xmspotlight module.
I think there is a setting in one of the news block to show news text (you can edit the template too, to show more text)...
There is also an old spotlight module, but probably it will not work now ...

I managed to get it done with News_1.44.
I had to change some settings and now it works.
But thanx for your reply anyway.
