I display a You Tube video on the main page of my site. After logging in and navigating away from the main page then coming back the user login box reappears instead of the user menu. I remember running into this when I was working with some forum software and we displayed content from outside of the site but I cannot remember the fix for this. Any ideas?

Any suggestions?

I've embedded a video in the article module and this doesn't happen.

the fix is to have the file stored locally.

you tube is preventing hotlinking, and I think is using a csrf attack to automatically log you out.

read this to understand more.

that's my guess anyway
