Has anyone ever managed to successfully port downloads+ to wf-downloads ?

Yeah I was thinking of writing a script but then i realised WMPDownloads is a variation of MyDownloads. So I used MyDownloads as a bridge-between:

1. Install Mydownloads.

2. Copy the tables from WMPdownloads into Mydownloads - as they have the same table structure. I did this via PHPMYadmin.

3. Install WF-Downloads.

4. Go into WF-Downloads and click Import.

This should import all the data from MyDownloads and yeah, job done.

3.2 rc1 has import from wmpdownloads built in. unless you are on about a different version (the script checks the module foldername to see if it exists before it gives you the option to import)

yeah i am running 3.1

The only issue is that although all my download categories are there, they are all recognised as parent categories instead of a few parent categories with child categories.

Is this supposed to happen ? or should I maybe try an upgrade and try re-import my db.

I posted the prob on smart factory but i am still awaiting a response.
