CBB 3.07 and FCK WYSIWYG Editor

My default, our forum....CBB 3.07....uses FCK WYSIWYG Editor.

Sometimes you will see things like; ’ or or other things showing up in the text. If you have a word like DON'T, CAN'T, etc...........it replaces the ' with a bunch of gobbly gook.

Anyone have any ideas what is going on?

 << that is a space ... sometimes a space is the symbol and number &20

The ' gobblegook is the symbol '
The computer geek's minds eye replaces the gobblegook with the appropiate symbol.

I'm only partly geeky... {grin}

" quotation mark " & #34;
' apostrophe ' (does not work in IE) & #39;
& ampersand & & #38;
< less-than < & #60;

ISO 8859-1 Symbol Entities
Result Description Entity Name Entity Number
non-breaking space & #160;
¡ inverted exclamation mark ¡ & #161;
¤ currency ¤ & #164;

In order to display these codes I had to put a space between the & and the number ... when you print the And and the number together it will not display so that you can read it.
