Hi,
I am re-creating my website as I am not happy with how everything turned out, but I have over 300 members, which I do not want to lose. Is there an easy way, after installing the new site and setting up, that I can add the members I already have to the new website?
I am guessing copying certain parts of the database?

You can try move existing (xoops)_users table.

The safest way is to copy those 3 tables :
_ranks
_users
_groups
_groups_users_link
_group_permission

Caution - permissions are based on module id and group id. Modules are assigned a module id when they are installed and group id is based on the order you created them (if you are using more than the default groups).

If you don't install all the modules in the same order (whether you use them, or not, doesn't matter) you will have problems. If you don't create groups in the same order, you will have problems.
