Hi,

I need a small module which can either have its own form or can run on formulize or formulaire.

What i need is that I put the information according to me the fields created using formulaire or the current module and have ot displayed onto my website.

random products in blocks and as well as a proper categorized pages for separate products.

If any one can suggest me a hack, even that is good too.

For more info please pm me so that I can respond.

Its quite urgent.

Need a lot of different modules developed but this one is urgent so somebody get in touch early.

I know my above post is quite confusing so clearing it.

What I want in the module

1. A module which accepts my custom fields

2. can output a page with info with the design that I provide.

3. should not display the empty fields

4. should support categories

5. with a block to display random items

more clarification through PM or mail only

Regards,
Sumyog

Hello. That's definitely the kind of thing you can do in Formulize. It will be a whole lot easier in the next release, but for now with 2.2 you can get a lot done with Formulize+Pageworks.

From your basic description, you want to...

1. Create a form in Formulize

2. Create a page in Pageworks to display entries in the Formulize form. There are several functions available to help you do that, there is reading material about this on our dev.xoops.org area, accessible throughhttp://www.freeformsolutions.ca/formulize

3. Create another page in Pageworks to act as your custom block with random info on it. Then make a PHP block in XOOPS and make the contents of that PHP block:

// assume your pageworks page is number 12
// but of course you would use whatever the
// actual number is when you make it
$page 12;
include
XOOPS_ROOT_PATH "/modules/pageworks/index.php";

With that, your Pageworks page 12 will appear in a block that you can then place wherever you want on your XOOPS site.

If you dig into this with Formulize, please post followups in the Formulize area on dev.xoops.org where we try to centralize application development discussions.

Good luck,

Thanks jegelstaff,

I have used your module and would like to say that formulize definitely does the work very well when putting in the data(using it on some site to create personal databases as well and really like it).

But i am not able to familiarize with pageworks as I am not a programmer and hence is looking for somebody who can help me with that.

If somebody would like to help me or work for me(with pay) I am definitly in for it.

First of all I would like to thank wtravel for guiding me towards EFQ directory.

The module is small and easy to use and also serves my simple purpose.(still studying the module to make it suite with the current theme of the site).

Also I would like to thank jegelstaff and marco for the kind replies.

I would definitely display my site when its completed and would definitely help the team in developing EFQ directory and other XOOPS products(either monetary or voluntary).

Thanks all.
