I am a bit over my head and have been building a few websites, I just purchased one which is a XOOPS site..? I logged in and have been looking around. I have a site which I wanted to add the xoop content management. Can I do this as a separate area without changing my whole site? I installed it and thought I changed permissions on a bunch of files it said needed writing permissions. I get this error when it has the option to visit the site.
Error: Smarty error: unable to write to $compile_dir '/templates_c'. Be sure $compile_dir is writable by the web server user.
What I am looking for is a separate area for articles etc.
This is more information..
