Can I restore a deleted topic in CBB ?

I accidentally deleted an entire topic in my CBB Message Forum and need to restore it. I know there is a simple proceedure for restoring individual posts but I have not figured out how to restore entire topics.

Also, is there official documentation for CBB ?

Do you have a MySQL backup to collect it all from?
Still unsure my self and never had to do that before....yet my first approach would be trying to see if I could restore some how, as tricky bit is getting the posts in a thread back to where all belongs.....

unless anyone else has a way to....

Sorry, but wizanda you have right, after confirm delete topic and/or post(s) are deleted in database.

If you have a backup you can attempt to restore manually the item(s) deleted.

the simple answer is "Yes it can be..." and CBB has the ability to restore deleted posts/topics but there are some questions before:
1- How many days spent from deleting a specific topic?
there is an option for expire a pending deleted topic/post at modules/newbb/include/plugin.php
Quote:

// time for pending/deleted topics/posts, expired one will be removed automatically, in days; 0 or no cleanup
$customConfig["pending_expire"] = 7;


2- whats your CBB version? i dont know from what version CBB has this feature.

3- there is a bug for deleting a topic ( NOT post) in the current version still unsolved at least for me.
when delete a topic that have posts it delete from db

In the event all else fails....

Can you give us some unique words or the exact topic heading. Anything that is googleable? It needs to be a unique phrase ---

better yet, what is your site address? ALSO...

Googles cache just may have cached the necessary information.

http://google.com using unique keywords and site:yoursitename.com

My plugin.php has exactly those parameters and my CBB is version 3.0.7

In the link you provided it says:
"but deleted topics with posts delete from db"

My topic had replies so I guess it is gone.

I do not want to go to my backup because it is a few days old and that would mean loosing other stuff.
