I don't know what is going on here.......had nothing like it before tonight but firefox is giving me this error :

The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete

* This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.

I've had others try on different browsers and they can't get the site open either.
I tried a quick upgrade though already using the latest XOOPS and stated 'upgrade not needed' with green ticks.

site is www.guzelcamli.co.uk anyone know what to do please?

i'd say you have a DNS issue not a XOOPS issue.

check with your host.

u can test by placing an html file in your root and then try and view the html file.

hmmm ok that says the DNS is ok :)

try a phpinfo.php script see if php actually runs.

not sure on the redirect tho.. try clearing templates_c folder. maybe some arbitrary code has been inserted into the template files (especially if the folder is chmod 777)

Your Home and Contact module are having problems. What is your startup moudle? You may want to check the permission on that module.

Try login and set the permission to allow Anonymous Users

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
It seems it was some sort of server issue that appears to be resolved now. If I find out what it was I'll let you know just in case anyone else gets something similar.

OK, this from hosts :

Not sure, but all of a sudden some mod_security rules got messed up on 2 of our servers.

Will probably mean more to you than me.
