Hi
I use XOOPS 2.0.15 with News version 1.1 module and today my site was hacked. Last post content was replaced with this text:

and the title with: Hacked By Bozkurt34 - 1923TurkGrup

Any ideea about how this was done ?

Well the news module has been upgraded many many times since 1.1 - so if there was an issue with it, it has probably been fixed since then.

However - it is quite possible there is an issue with another module you have on your site... which ones are you using?

And the obvious question - are you using "Protector"?

News is one possible module... also - which Article module are you using? The one from Phppp or the other one? The second of these was updated recently for security reasons.

I upgraded to News 1.44 and soon I will install Protector (I didn't know about it).
I'm using:

Articles 1
XoopsGallery 2.04
PDDownload 1.2
Wordpress ME 0.33 (this was the last one installed, a week ago)
