Hello,

I have added an item to the main menu by modifying the template, but I can't find a way to open it in the block in the center. It displays in a new page.

Here is the line I added :
      
<a class="menuMain" href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/NPGoogleMaps/">Cartea>

Taking your code and applying it to opening a parent frame code, in frontpage maybe you can see how to adjust it to call the "CenterBlock" instead of "parent" you want to open it in with the target = command.

Well; I am not sure to understand, because the XOOPS page do not contain frames if I look at thc sour code of the page displayed, nothing in the href indicates that it mus be displayed on a frame

Send me the link to the page where you have the main menu now. Your site address. I will take a look at the generated html when I do a save file as onto my computer.

Then I might see how the link can be passed to the center block to help you more.

Site is http://nikonpassion.free.fr/test_site/

and look at the "menu principal" (top left) the bottom item is the one I added trhough the system admin panel in the template.

The other items open in the center block but not this one. This items are generated by XOOPS and relate to the modules installed.

Hello,

It doesn't work. The class is related to the style to be applied to the text "carte des membres" not to the link to be opened.

Thanks anyway.

If there were a way to add this link as a new XOOPS module then building of the menu would be handled by the system and so the display.

Modifying the tables may be a good way to do that. I am going to explore it.
