CBB 3.08 adding new forum dont work

i installed cbb 3.08 on XOOPS 2.0.13.2, i also installed frameworks & xoopseditors
so the cbb works, i can create categories, but i cant vreate (add) forums
only the header is shown "create a new forum"
but nothing else
anybody an idea ??

I don't think I can help you but going on an installing the newer XOOPS version 2.0.16 might clear up your problem.

ok i have updated to 2.0.16
seems to everything work fine
except cbb 3.08
i can add categories but no forums
it seems problem´s source are the editors
but dont know what todo

Have you installed everything to the correct place? As in:

website root/modules/newbb
website root/Frameworks
website root/class/xoopseditor (not the newbb/class directory)

Also, are all the directories in their lowest level, i.e. not nested inside another?

The blind may be leading the blind here but next I would clear the template_c folder of all files EXCEPT THE INDEX.PHP ... be sure and leave that one.

Then ...
we shall continue on

With other help as it arrives.

NOTE: my reasoning is since you have the same problem it may be that the temp. files are continuing to give you feedback that does not really represent your ~now working, with the new install~.. modules. Deleting those gives us one less place to have to look.

i uploaded class/xoopseditor to
Frameworks/xoops22/class/xoopseditor
now it works

thank you very much for your help. I made everything in such a way as you wrote but unfortunately it does not function nevertheless.

You said you can create categories.

Have you created any?

I see in my categories, they are what shows up in my forums.

If you haven't then create a category and see if that makes a difference on the forums menu.

The forum on my site runs since 4 years. There are 6 Categories an more than 30 forums. Before i chance to version cbb 3.0.4 there were no problem...
