I'm obviously new to XOOPS, but things are going rather well. Ongoing problem is that all pages seem to show the text listed below at bottom of site. Any idea how to fix??Thanks in advance.

If you select 'advanced search' and search the forums for the error message (minus the filenames) you'l find some answers.

i.e if you search for:

"Only variables should be assigned by reference"

it looks like it is a PHP compatibility problem with your version of Xoops.

Hi,

1.Make shure that in administration -> system admin -> preferences -> general settings "debug mode" option is set to OFF

If after that notices are still shown, you need to edit your php.ini file. Make shure the error reporting is set to something like "error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE"
