Would you mind passing me the bottle, I think I am having IE flashbacks. {{just kidding}} It does look like you are going to have to do some adjustments for your register page. Good luck, I'll hold the bottle while you get to work.

I uploaded what I am seeing on register.

NOTE: when I return to the /xoops dir. from the register page it continues to hold the (image above)in the page banner area. ...EVEN AFTER I CLOSE the broswer and re-enter the site from the homepage before going back to the /xoops directory.

Needless to say I would include the fix IF I knew what it was, but I don't so I can't. Sorry...
I'll keep watch so next time I will know how to keep it from happening to me or pass it on. (the fix) I am pretty much of a newbie myself.

the only thing ive notice was the size of you banner ver. the size of the XOOPS banner.
it cuts your up.
966x109 and your logo is only 206 x 100
that make for a wide screen theme.
drop the banner image down to fit the banner size or remove it as a banner shown here.
