Update to latest news module

At the moment we are using the News module version 1.44 and we want to update it to the latest version 1.53. At http://dev.xoops.org/ there are two versions which can be downloaded: version 1.51 and 1.53. Do we have to download and install them both to get the latest version or...?

We ask because on another XOOPS site there's also a version 1.50. We can't remember the name or url of this site!

hello,

You will find in the module's zip package a readme.txt file, and within it, instructions how to upgrade.
you can find those in the release article too, those are the same
https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=3638.
the latest released version is indeed News 1.53.

Thanks marco, so i can use the latest version to upgrade from 1.44 to 1.53 without upgrading to version 1.51 first?
