Re: [BETA] multiMenu 1.8, when mm goes dynamics

hello,

Im using Multimenu 1.9rc1.

I read a lot of post but i can't find the answer to my problem.

I want to use slide-vertical for my website.
There i have four head subjects nl. Algemeen, Zwangerschap, 1e levensjaar and 2e levensjaar.

Every head subject has several sub subjects nl the months.
From reading i understand that the head subjects must be main links and the months must be submenu links.

I have all my articles in a category nl. the month.

How can i take care that if someone choose for a month , the user sees all the articles of that month.
What must be the right url for this sort of things.

Regards,

Roelof

hi,
i'm not sure to understand if your question is "how to display articles for a particular month", or "how to insert an url for submenus" ?
for second case :
open in your browser, the webpage with all articles for the month you choose.
copy the link available in your broswer (navigation bar), and paste it to the right submenu in multiMenu.

thnk you for your answer.

What i mean with alle articles in a month, you can see it at http://www.tamarawobben.nl and choose for zwangerschap and then for a month.

for example, to display articles for october 2006, you must use this link :

http://www.tamarawobben.nl/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=39&Itemid=51
and
http://www.tamarawobben.nl/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=17&Itemid=29
for september 2006
etc...

but this website is not based on XOOPS ?!

Correct,

That site is no Xoops-siet but a Joomla site.
If i get it working, i will convert it into a Xoops-site, but i planning how i can do it the best.

i know what you want.
but i never seen a such html/css menu 'horizontal scroll with image' (all menus available in multimenu are adaptation from existants menus)

the module "marquee" can display scrolling text.
maybe you could try it, and replace text by images (with link on them) for your menu ?

you can find some good type of menus in dhtmlgoodies.com
i think you want such a thing:
http://www.dhtmlgoodies.com/scripts/image_slideshow/image_slideshow.html

@ blueteen:
is this easy for a newbie like me to add some of these scripts to multimenu?
i think adding scripts as a plugin to multimenu could be an outstanding feature.
