How I do a link to call a templates so that appears in popwindows?

I'm using this link below but appears the template with the tags.

<a href="javascript:openWithSelfMain('<{$xoops_url}>/modules/mimodule/templates/fullbanner.html?action=showpopups&type=online','Online',550,420);"><{$block.lang.fullbanner}></a>

Do you have some suggestion and solution????

Hi rabideau,
the (popgen) module is good, but this module help webmasters to generate code to display an image as a popup, but also now, to create a customiable code to display any kind of media (picture, flash, sound, video).

I use the other optionhttp://www.dynamicdrive.com/ but doesn't work.

When I call block there is not problem, but they continue appearing the tag .
Do you have another suggestion and solution
