XF Article 0.99 - search function not working

However I try to use the search feature of XF Article, I can't get a result. Clicking the "Search" button just brings up a blank page. I'm not sure why there should be an issue as the rest of the module works fine. I have got the problem on my test installation (installed on a Uniform Server running on a Win XP box) and also on my production linux server. Has anyone else come across this and found how to fix it?
