I know it's probably a dumb question, but I'm just a couple hours into XOOPS here and it's my first CMS. When I login, I see the blocks I want displayed on my main page, but I want these blocks to be displayed when a visitor first arrives at the site.. without having to login. I don't see a setting in 'Blocks' anywhere. What am I missing? Thanks!

Hi,
you need to set the anonymous group permitions. Go to XOOPS admin -> system admin -> Groups. Chose "Modify" next to Anonymous users and select blocks and modules you want to be available for anonymous users. Be carefull not to give them admin access .

Some modules require aditional settings to be made for permitions, so also check the module admin.

If you create new custom block, you need to go thru Groups again ...
