I've installed newbb forum for my XOOPS site, & there is an option to hide our message, it will showed when someone repply that.. buat i have active that option & it doesn't work.. it's true that "protected message" is appear.. but when someone else repply that protected message, the message still doesn't appear, it's still appear "protected message" whereas someone else already repply that..???

If you are talking about the "view requirements:reply " option that can be set on a post, it works in the following way.


1.User A posts a message and sets the option.
2.The "protected message" line appears to all users.
3.User B replies to the original message.
3.a) User B cannot read the message on the reply screen
3.b) This means User B must post without reading the protected message in any way
4.Now that User B has replied, User B can read the message
5.All other users are still unable to read the message.

Yeah, that's what i mean before, even after user B repplied the post, the message still appear "protected message"

Hope someone can help me out please..

I don't seem to be able to choose the view requirement option on that forum.

i've disable again that option, sorry..
coz yesterday there are so many people said they can't see the protected message.. sorry about that..

Oh yeah, i've tried from the beginning.. fresh install.. and it doesn't work too.. I used "xoops-2.0.15" & "XOOPS2_mod_newbb2.02_PredPhpp"

For example, user A post something with "repply requirement" and then user B repplied that message, but it's still appear "protected message"..

But when user B logout & then login again, the message was appear..

I have re-install from the beggining but the result is still same.. :(
