hi,

I downloaded the module pd-links from here and had some problems with it. So after a while I found out that there is a new version of it on a different website.
I erased the pd-link folder via ftp and uninstalled it afterwards, which I guess wasn't really clever. When I tried to install the new version I get this error message:

Installing PD-links

Table 'xoops_PDlinks_broken' already exists

Unable to install PDlinks. Error(s):

How can fix this?

I just tried to install the old version to unistall it again. Now I have "Module File for Not Found!" twice together with my installed modules and if I try to uninstall it, I get a blank page..?

you should do the inverse!

tables still remained in the database so now you must "drop" those tables with "PDlinks" prefix in phpmyadmin

To clarify: the old "PDlinks" tables need to be dropped (removed completely), not emptied (truncated).

The "Module File for Not Found!" error might be caused by putting the module files in the wrong location. The directory structure should look like:

modules/DIRNAME/
... xoops_version.php
... index.php
... classes/
... blocks/
... include/

etc.

sorry, I am really new to all this...How do I drop it in phpadmin?

...about:
modules/DIRNAME/
... xoops_version.php
... index.php
... classes/
... blocks/
... include/

the module files were in the correct location, I was able to install it, but it shows me "Module File for Not Found!" twice between the installed modules and its still showing together with the not installed modules!?

I was able to remove it, but if I try to install the module again it says:

Installing

Version:

Module data inserted successfully. Module ID: 36
Setting group rights...
Added admin access right for Group ID 1
Added user access right for Group ID: 1
Added user access right for Group ID: 2

Module installed successfully.

but then then it says module not found!? Why? It worked before..?
