WF Downloads - Excel MIME Types

Dear All,

I'm trying to make Excel Templates available for download, I've added the MIME type to the library (see screenshot)

http://www.vetscope.co.uk/screenshot.jpg

They are all separated by spaces, but when I try to upload an Excel file i get:

Errors Returned While Uploading
MIME type not allowed: application/vnd.ms-excel
If the page does not automatically reload, please click here

What do I need to do?
What's going wrong?

Thanks,

Jim

Your case is probably wrong on the file extension - please rename the files you're trying to upload to lower-case letters

I've tried renaming the files with lower case & removing all of the spaces, but WF-Downloads still own't let me upload Excel Templates NOR Powerpoint files?

An ideas?
I really could do with some help for this!

Some basic questions -

Which version of WF-Downloads?
Which side are you uploading from - Admin or User?
Have you tried removing all other entries in the mimetype field except for the one shown in the error (application/vnd.ms-excel)?

Re: WF Downloads - Excel MIME Types

Thanks Skenow,

We're using WF-Downloads v3.1 on XOOPS v2.0.16

I'm uploading from the admin side.

That's a good idea about removing the other MIME types, will try it tonight if I get a moment.
I have tried changing the file name to remove spaces & capitals, have also tried shortening the file name, but nothing seems to work.

Have you sent a file to Bender?

Skenow,

Sent a couple of files to Bender - Excel Template & Powerpoint - would you like copies as well?
