Hi,

Is this feature "Verify email addresses and cleanup" available ? if no one make this hack for XOOPS yet, so i will strart to do it

About Verify emails hack, it will be good idea for fixing one of common webserver problems: resending message to invalid emails, which will cause high CPU loading.

Some users registed with invalid emails or thier inboxes full and for thoses users i think it will be good if XOOPS inform the webmaster about this problem, for example after sending message from admin area, the list of invalid email appear.

any comments ?

Thank you irmtfan ... it's very helpful topic

but this patch is very good for new XOOPS site, so new registed users can't add invalid email or change it from thier profiles.

What's about old XOOPS site that have many faked emails, how can check it ?

Not aware of any existing hack/module/... to do so.
