hey i cant post a sticky topic with the things above i have my framework and everything the newest one (downloaded yesterday) and if i go into permissions i dont see anything about posting stickies. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I also just noticed I cant lock it either

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? anybody got even the slightest idea of what it could be ive been using XOOPS for probly 4 months but never had problems with the old versions of newbb. but also could it just be my template for the main site not showin it? Thanks EDIT: Nope changin the template didnt work.

What you do is when logged-in as admin...go to the forum you wish to sticky...in the drop down or select box there are options to lock topics and sticky topics...

lol im such a noob. You were right. Thanks the last forum i used was smf and i was still lookin in the part where u actually edit it.
