Hello guys I've faced blank pages before and managed to solve them, what's tricky about this one is that it's only related to the news module, all I did is clean the template_c folder and updated the system and news module and all the sudden I cant see the articles in the news module, i can see the attachment and everything else in it but not the news articles click here to check for urself!

Im using 2.2.4

News I'm using 1.44

do you read news upgrade guide? located in upgrade.txt?

you upgrade news from which version to 1.44?

If you are using 2.2 revisions, try upgrading to 2.2.5rc2....it is for Bug Fixes, may help

This does not mean anyone on 2.1 revisions...as they are different.

Also for the problems, try -re-uploading the News module over it...and also try systems update again...it's missing something....would say test your MySQL tables also...

Make sure you get a backup while in MySQL of just the data needed for the News also....then if worst...you can always uninstall it and re-install...then just drop the tables with the data...


Yet it may be something in the data that has tripped it up... as in there may be a couple of '' that have turned into mysql... (guess)

After like i say try running XOOPS system update in module admin and hit submit in prefrences as it rebuilds your cache for you.....

if you didnt do anything ( upgrade or install)and get the blank news it is should be a MySQL issue.
try repair news tables.
