hI!
happy you are on line..
i am making a mass on my xoops

i tried to update to 2.2.5
but when i went to the update page it only gave me the chance to install xoops...
so i re-uploaded all my old files of XOOPS 2.2.2 but now when i login i can see only blank page!
whan can it have happened?
what can i do??

for update from 2.2.2 to 2.2.5 you need to copy all files except of mainfile.php and install folder and then just update "system" "profile" and "pm" module.

i think it should work i never try it myself.

ok solved everything and succedeed in installing article...
but yet there is no way to display any article block on any page... why???
...

"Article" is not a "submit and see in page" module.the usage is a little hard to understand.

it may be hard to understand but i simply want to add a block to a page
adding blocks should work whith any module
why article's blocks are not displayed?
...

Article blocks work fine!
just try to set correct permission for the group you want to see blocks.

permissions are correctly set to consent all groups to see the blocks
...

could you take a screenshot from the block's "edit" page?

link is like this: modules/system/admin.php?fct=blocksadmin&op=edit&id=XX

XX= a number
so we can see if any thing is wrong.

i discovered that if i logout i can view the block (but also the webmaster group was seletcted to view) besides when i click on a article on the block it gives a wrong url
for instance it links to

http://www.coniglioviola.com/art-factory/modules/article/view.article.php?a6

instead of

http://www.coniglioviola.com/art-factory/modules/article/view.article.php?6


these are bugs i think
...
