Yeh

You upload the files to the modules folder....

You go to XOOPS modules admin, you click install....

With some Modules, that have the advanced editors (CBB, Article) they will also need things like Frameworks uploading and XOOPS editors to begin....

Make sure you read all instructions included, just in case there are extra things to do.

You need to unzip things first....see if you can find a basic XOOPS user guide some where, there are quite a few dotted around the net....

Yeh as us lot want to be able to see what we are doing and edit things, a lot of systems are there for them to give you things....
It us who adds and changes things...so even if we could have that, I would prefer always seeing what is going on....learn more that way

It's easy once you have done things the first time, really is and XOOPS has to be one of the easiest I know of....why I use it....

So rather then follow pre-conditioned ideas, read up first what you are doing and should be as easy as 123....

If you make lots of mistakes earlier, you will learn more and not make them later....
