Read info from (here) and the searched forum, posted on XOOPS Malaysia.


I installed it as normal module, then it popuped me about ip-to-country install.

So far so good.

but when installing the ip-to-country.csv (downloaded the newst one too, the same)

then it always stops on 7%

tried to remove flush(); etc. (it's said to try it - here )

i'm new to sql, but I got phpmyadmin access, I tried to import it in DB xoops_ -> TBL xoops_iptoc but it always said that : Invalid field count in CSV input on line 1.

dunno what to do

if I try to import it in xoops_ DB
then:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded in ..phpMyAdmin\libraries\import\sql.php on line 87

Apache 2.2.3
MySQL 5.0.27
PHP 5.2.0 & PHP 4.4.4
phpMyAdmin 2.9.1.1

(xamp 1.55 here - and it is by default without csv storage engine)

CSV engine is not enabled in mysql, maybe there is a quick way to do it, googled for it, but didn't find a fast answer.

what could I do? maybe some had the same problem? :P

Modul is working, just without the country flags :(

Try to install it with the script BigDump.

You know it takes ages to install...you have to wait for like 10 mins of the page refreshing for the installer to finish to 100%... Scared me 1st time and didn't leave it long enough?

tried to DL it with Opera - doesn't start, but with IE7 it wont open the page at all. Googled for another link, but found only older versions.

if I look trough MySQL administrator, then the page xoops_iptoc stays on 4500 rows, - that's how much the install says, after then there's no activity.

opera 4,5k rows
ie7 5k rows
ff 5k rows

but the csv db is 71k rows

if only it wouldn't drop the tables before creating the new ones.

lol, after every 3mins when it shows blank, i just push refresh and it goes further

Go to my store McDonalds Store and download BigDump (point 10) from there.
Extract the rar-file and open bigdump.php in a texteditor and add the necessary info about your database.

Also download the iptoc.sql database file (point 11) and open it in a texteditor like ConTEXT (don't try Notepad or Wordpad).
Replace in this file the term dbprefix by the prefix you use for your XOOPS database. Replacing might take a while because its a huge file.

Now upload bigdump.php and iptoc.sql to a temporary folder on your server.
Open your browser and enter the path to bigdump.php.
Just choose the file iptoc.sql and execute.
BigDump will now 'break' the iptoc.sql file in smaller parts and add them one by one to your database.
