Hi all,

I'm at a loss how to alter the date format in SmartSection 2.12 RC1.

In SmartSection preferences I have set the date format as d-M-Y H:i but this doesn't seem to alter anything in the module, either in the main category listings or, for example, in the Recent Items block (which I have showing centre-right on my homepage).

Any idea what I'm doing wrong or is this a bug in the module that I should report over at http://smartfactory.ca/ ?

It wouldn't normally bother me that much but other modules display their date in different formats and I like SmartSection to be consistent with them.

Just searched on the SmartFactory site and I see that others have, in the past, reported the date format issue.

Also noticed that an issue with introductory text not displaying was also reported; I too have noticed this.

I see that there's a SmartSection 2.12 RC2 preview available - anyone tried it and, if so, are these two issues sorted? No mention of them amongst the "issues fixed" section.

If not then I guess I'll download it and see for myself

Deleted the module and put the old one back...and still got a blank white page for my homepage.

Finally got back in (after much panicing!) by accessing XOOPS root/user.php

Dunno what was wrong but all seems okay now.

Next time I mention upgrading a working site with an RC module you have my permission to shoot me
