On one of my sites, http://comopark.org, I just noticed that the "Recent News" center block does not show up in Internet Explorer 6 for Windows but it works in Firefox 1.5 and 2.0 on Windows. I do my dev work on a Mac, and the site looks great in Safari, Firefox 2.0 for Mac, and OmniWeb 5.5, even Internet Explorer 5 for Mac! (the last version of IE for Mac until Microsoft gave up). Note: it is not a matter of groups-- the block should show for all users.

This is really frustrating to have it work fine in all browsers but the one it absolutely must work in for compatibility with the most users, and I don't even know where to begin to figure out what is wrong. I suppose it could be the new News 1.5 I am using.

I don't want this thread to devolve into an anti-Microsoft rant, I just want to figure out if this is fixable. I suppose it could be a theme problem?
Any help appreciated!!

Thanks,

I've just visited your site and the Recent News block (with the stage-light thingy) shows up in the centre block below the welcome message just fine in IE7.

Which version of the news module are you using?

It's the new version 1.5. And I only got to test it in IE 6, not 7, so thanks for the feedback. However, if it doesn't show on other computers using IE 6, I still have a problem, as that will be the most common browser for some time to come.

Thanks!

I don't have access to Windows and IE 6 at the home office. But I'll check it later today for you. It shows up fine in a couple Mac browsers I tried.

What an interesting site! Good job!

Thx
