Hello there,

I would upgrade from XOOPS 2.2.3a to 2.2.4.
I downloaded the patch, I copyed file to my server, write enable /mainfile.php, and launch /install/index.php

And I have the following error:

Warningmain(./passwd.php): failed to open streamNo such file or directory in /home/stela/www/install/index.php on line 30

You can not access this XOOPS installer
.

Nowhere it's written how to upgrade, I feel that I need a new file called passwd.php with constant INSTALL_USER, INSTALL_PASSWD, but what to put inside??

Can somebody help me?

Thanks a lot

Pierre

hmmm, did you login to your XOOPS website before you executed the /install/index.php file?

if you want to upgrade then you dont need any install!!!

just follow the instructions for upgrade
1- upload patch 2.2.4
2- delete cache/profilefields.tmp
3- update "system" , "profile" and "pm" modules.

Yes, it's normal. You can change the footer text in System > Preferences > Meta Tags and Footer.

None, the install is for installing XOOPS (as far as I know), Upgrades don't need them, yet often packaging is easier with all files included, rather then less

Also what happened to 2.2.5 rc2? off sourceforge?
