Hi

Newbie to XOOPS (well a couple of weeks or so), but already upgraded from 2.0.15 to 2.0.16 with no hitch.

I am prototyping first website with XOOPS and

1) I want to display all dates from the system module in d/M/Y format. I see from previous posts the code to do it. But where to insert this code?

2) I have also fallen foul of the ongoing not sending email problems.
But in my case I have found that the problem lies with my webhost's dns zone config. They say they are sorting it. So, to all the others - try working with your web host first.
Wow, a lot has certainly been written here on this subject over many months.
If the xoops.org site was slow for you all today - sorry - was my constant searching.

Anyway - anyone help with item 1 above?

Gotta say tho -- I'm well impressed with XOOPS thus far (more when my test site is displayed in FF or Opera (win and Linux) than IE6)

Hi,

for 1) go to ./language/YOUR LANGUAGE(english)/global.php

There you will find:

define("_DATESTRING","Y/n/j G:i:s");
define("_MEDIUMDATESTRING","Y/n/j G:i");
define("_SHORTDATESTRING","Y/n/j");

with description of the settings.

Hi Stefan88

Thanks

Never thought to look in the language file - silly me.

A lot in there

But, date formats in system module and all other module in use are now sorted.
