Hello !

I restarted my installation and it says
Selected module does not exist!

I can't even do a login with my admin user.

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance , Philipp

Not sure what you mean by "restarted my installation." What version are you using? What version were you installing from and to?

For starters, I'd re-upload my files taking care to: 1) Not overwrite my mainfile.php and 2)make sure you upload your core files to the right place. Beyond that, without more information about version, what you were doing when this happened (upgrading, initial install, etc), there's little I can offer apart from the above advice. When it says selected module does not exist, it means the module directory/files for a given module cannot be found in your XOOPSROOT/modules directory. In this case, I'm just guessing here, I suspect that your system module folder is either not loaded up to the right directory or perhaps it was not unpacked correctly.
MMM...It tastes like chicken! ...

Hi !
Thanks for the quick reply and sorry for the missing information.

My version is 2.41.

With restart I meant, that I restarted my computer ater a couple of days. After that I started Apache and mysql.
I opened my browser and typed in the localhost:port adress with which I adress the XOOPS. And there it was: the message about the module ( I have only one active - the system module). After that I tried to login but it failed. Also a testuser login failed. A links are dead, they just do nothing.

After that I was looking for a trace or something similiar. Is there anything ?

I'm quite new to XOOPS so I still struggle even with defining the errors.

Thanks again for your help, Philipp
